This SNG01 series Water Fire Extinguisher is a reliable, cost-effective solution for tackling Class A fires (combustible materials such as wood, paper, textiles, and plastics). Manufactured in full compliance with BS EN3 - the European standard for portable fire extinguishers - and independently certified with the BSI Kitemark, this extinguisher provides guaranteed performance, consistent manufacturing quality, and full regulatory compliance for the UK and European markets. The extinguisher utilises the stored-pressure principle: the cylinder contains water pressurised with air or nitrogen, and operation is simply by squeezing the lever to discharge.

Steel Cylinder Construction

The extinguisher body is manufactured from high-quality steel grades: DC01 (cold rolled, general purpose) and ST12 (deep drawing quality), ensuring excellent strength, weldability, and resistance to deformation. The cylinder is coated internally with a protective anti-corrosion lining, and externally finished with a durable, high-visibility red epoxy polyester powder coating (RAL 3000) conforming to BS EN 3 colour requirements. The base is fitted with a durable plastic skirt that protects the cylinder bottom from impact and floor corrosion.

Fire Performance - 13A to 27A Ratings

The SNG01 series water extinguishers are available in 6 litre and 9 litre capacities, with fire ratings ranging from 13A up to 27A:

• 6 litre models (SNG01-66B / SNG01-66BW6): Achieve 21A or 13A fire rating - suitable for medium-risk environments such as offices, schools, hotels and small workshops.

• 9 litre models (SNG01-67B / SNG01-67BW9): Achieve 27A or 21A fire rating - the highest performance for portable water extinguishers, ideal for industrial facilities, warehouses, factories, and large public buildings.

A Class A fire rating (e.g., 21A) indicates the extinguisher's capability to extinguish a defined size of wood crib fire - the higher the number, the greater the extinguishing capacity.
