The dip tube (also known as a siphon tube or pickup tube) is a critical internal component of a fire extinguisher. It is attached to the valve assembly inside the cylinder and extends downward to the bottom of the extinguisher body. When the extinguisher is operated, the propellant gas forces the extinguishing agent (dry powder, foam, water, or CO₂) up through the dip tube and out through the hose and nozzle. A properly sized and securely fitted dip tube ensures complete discharge of the agent, preventing residue from remaining in the cylinder.

Our dip tubes are precision-machined from high-quality materials to match the thread connections commonly found on fire extinguisher valves. They are available in a range of standard thread sizes - M16x1.5, M14x1.5, M10x1, G3/8", and other custom threads - to fit most valve models. The tube length can be customized to suit different cylinder heights and agent fill volumes.

Construction & Material Options

• Brass: Corrosion-resistant, excellent machinability, suitable for dry powder, foam, and water extinguishers. Available in lead-free brass for RoHS compliance.

• Mild Steel (zinc-plated or painted): Economical option for dry powder extinguishers where internal corrosion is managed by agent drying properties.

• Stainless Steel (SS304 / SS316): For CO₂ extinguishers and highly corrosive environments; offers superior strength and rust resistance.

• Aluminum (with anodized finish): Lightweight option for certain specialized extinguishers (internal compatibility required).
