This UL Listed EPDM Lining Fire Hose has been specifically engineered for demanding municipal and industrial fire protection services. Manufactured in strict compliance with UL 2196 Standard for Lined Fire Hose for Interior Standpipes and Municipal and Industrial Fire Protection Services, the hose is designed to provide exceptional reliability, durability, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. Its rugged double-jacket construction (100% high-tenacity polyester filament yarn in both warp and weft) and high-grade EPDM inner tube deliver consistently reliable performance for fire hydrants, standpipes, pumpers, hose racks and fire cabinets in buildings, as well as various industrial applications.

Construction & Materials

• Jacket: 100% high-tenacity polyester filament yarn in warp, and a weft of polyester filament (polyester warp and weft construction are reinforced double-jacket layers) ensuring outstanding abrasion, puncture, tear, and ultraviolet resistance. All materials are fully mildew-proof and rot-proof, requiring no drying after use and delivering a long, trouble-free service life.

• Lining: Premium-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) synthetic rubber inner tube, co-vulcanized with the jacket by a specialized dual-vulcanization process that bonds the tube to the jacket and edge-seals the cut ends - thereby eliminating moisture/chemical wicking, prolonging the hose life and dramatically reducing end-seal failure.

EPDM rubber lining is renowned for its superior aging and weather resistance, providing improved longevity compared to natural-rubber-lined hoses.

• Excellent resistance to corrosion, ozone, UV radiation, mildew, and diverse weather climates for reliable outdoor and long-term storage.

• The elastomer retains its flexibility and sealing integrity over an extended service period.

• UL 2196 Listed: The hose has been safety-tested and certified by UL for lined-hose municipal and industrial fire protection applications. It fully conforms to the rigorous testing protocol of UL 2196 (Standard for Lined Fire Hose for Interior Standpipes and Municipal and Industrial Fire Protection Services) and is produced under a certified quality management system and production follow-up inspection.

Pressure Ratings

• Working Pressure (WP): 200 PSI (14 bar) and 300 PSI (21 bar) versions are available for both diameters.

• Burst Pressure (BP): 600 PSI (42 bar) for the 200-PSI rated hose, and 900 PSI (63 bar) for the 300-PSI rated hose. These values represent a minimum 3:1 safety design factor and meet or exceed all applicable NFPA and municipal test standards.

Approvals & Compliance

• UL Listed (UL 2196): Certified to UL Standard for Lined Fire Hose for Interior Standpipes and Municipal and Industrial Fire Protection Services.

• UL 19 / NFPA 1961 Compatible: Manufactured to meet or exceed the performance requirements of UL 19 and NFPA 1961 as minimum levels for municipal and industrial service.

A complete range of UL-listed couplings (NH/NST, NPSH, BSP, Storz, instantaneous) and gaskets can be provided upon request.
